Announcement Material O Matic

A device that generates materials, akin to a material mine.

Cost : 500 Currency Bling Icon

A maximum of 3 Material-O-Matics may be obtained:

  1. One from Infinite Pack
  2. One from Cornelius' Emporium
  3. One from a Event

MechanicsEdit

  • Upon purchase, the Material-O-Matic will now give you 10 Common Materials
  • 10 materials will be produced every 23 hours.
  • When a production cycle is over, the player will have two choices:
  1. Collect the Materials
  2. Upgrade the Materials

Collecting the Materials:
Players collect 10 materials based on the Material-O-Matic's rarity level.

Upgrading the Materials:
Upgrading the materials will start a new 23 hour cycle. At the end of this cycle, 2 of the materials will become rare (Exceptional, Legendary or Epic)

  • Protect the current Materials. Being attacked will simply reset the timer instead of going back 1 level
  • Increase the amount of Rare Materials in the mine by two, removing 2 Common. It will no longer increase automatically the quality of the Materials. The odds of getting different quality is the same as when purchasing a Material pack
  • This process can be repeated (with each cycle improving 2 more materials) until the Material-O-Matic contains 10 rare materials.
  • If you don't Upgrade them once the 24hr timer has run out, the Materials will stay in their current state

Update HistoryEdit

December 11, 2014 Patch

  • The Material-O-Matic will now take 23 hours instead of 24 hours to complete a full cycle.
  • The Material-O-Matic tooltip panel should hide automatically upon collecting.
  • The Material-O-Matic tooltip "Upgrade mine" has been modified to "Upgrade materials" to avoid confusion.
  • Resolved an issue where the Material-O-Matic package only gave the materials if the account already owned the previous version.
  • Resolved an issue where the button "collect" remained available after collecting the 10 free materials upon placing the mine.

December 10, 2014 Patch There's an updated M.o.M. in town! The new behavior is now

  • Upon purchase, it will now give you 10 Common Materials
  • The tooltip will still show you the content of the M.o.M., but clicking on it will no longer automatically collect the contents.

Clicking on the M.o.M. will now give you two choices:

  1. Collect the Materials
  2. Upgrade the Materials

The mines will no longer automatically upgrade the Materials. If you don't Upgrade them once the 24hr timer has run out, the Materials will stay in their current state

Upgrading the Materials will do 2 things:

  1. Protect the current Materials. Being attacked will simply reset the timer instead of going back 1 level
  2. Increase the amount of Rare Materials in the mine by two, removing 2 Common. It will no longer increase automatically the quality of the Materials. The odds of getting different quality is the same as when purchasing a Material pack
